41-5-1905. Allocation of grants. (1) Each fiscal year, the board shall allocate grants under 41-5-1902 for distribution to eligible counties based upon: (a) the relative population of youth residing in geographical areas of the state, as determined by the board; and (b) the estimated cost of youth detention services in each county eligible for funding under 41-5-1902. (2) A county is not automatically entitled to receive a grant from funds available under 41-5-1902. History: En.
