§ 44-1-404

44-1-404. Status of replacements for patrol officers who enter the armed forces. Patrol officers filling vacancies caused by the incumbents' entrance into the armed forces of the United States shall, on the return of the incumbents, be placed in the patrol reserve without pay, except that they shall hold their probationary or permanent appointments while there are sufficient operating funds.
