46-23-206. Enforcement of subpoenas by court. In case of contumacy by or refusal of any person to obey a subpoena issued to such person, any member of the board or duly authorized representative of any of them may make application to any court of record of this state and such court shall have jurisdiction to issue to such person an order requiring such person to appear before the board and there to produce evidence if so ordered or there to give testimony touching the matter under investigation. Any failure to obey such order of the court may be punished by said court as a contempt thereof. History: En.
