5-4-105. Predrafting. (1) Prior to the legislative services division working on a bill draft request, the legislative services division shall offer to provide to the requesting legislator a brief history on the subject matter in the legislature in the past five sessions, including but not limited to: (a) any legislation introduced in the past five sessions; and (b) links to any online materials, including bills, fiscal notes, audio or video files, and minutes. (2) The legislative services division may request assistance from the legislative fiscal division or legislative audit division on any state budgetary, fiscal, or audit information related to the subject matter.
