52-2-724. Provisional license -- provisional registration certificate. (1) The department may issue a provisional license or provisional registration certificate for a period which may not exceed 6 months if it finds that a day-care facility or applicant does not meet all standards established by the department, as long as the facility or applicant is attempting to meet the minimum standards. (2) The department may not waive the requirement that a day-care center be certified under the provisions of 52-2-734 and 52-2-735.
