§ 53-18-101

53-18-101. Definitions. As used in this part, the following definitions apply: (1) 'Department' means the department of public health and human services provided for in 2-15-2201. (2) 'Self-sufficiency trust' means a trust created by a nonprofit corporation that is a 501(c)(3) organization under the Internal Revenue Code, 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(3), as amended, and that was organized under the Montana Nonprofit Corporation Act, Title 35, chapter 2, for the purpose of providing for the care and treatment of one or more persons who are residents of this state and are persons with developmental disabilities, mental illness, or physical disabilities or are otherwise eligible for department services, as defined by the department.
