53-2-609. Revocation of assistance. If the department or the local office of public assistance has reason to believe, by reason of a complaint or otherwise, that public assistance under this title has been improperly granted, the department or local office of public assistance shall make an investigation. If it appears as a result of an investigation that the assistance was improperly granted, further payments may not be authorized for the recipient.
