§ 61-10-226

61-10-226. Deposit of state highway money. (1) Money received for the use of the department of transportation from the receipt or transfer of GVW license fees, as provided by law, or from other state sources must be deposited in the highway restricted account provided for in 15-70-126 to the credit of the department. (2) Money received from the federal government or other agencies must be deposited in a federal or state special revenue fund to the credit of the department. (3) Money collected for the department as authorized by law must be credited to the appropriate fund by the state treasurer.
