61-4-506. Provisions nonexclusive -- applicability of U.C.C. -- defenses. (1) The provisions of this part do not limit the rights or remedies available to a consumer under any other law. (2) All express warranties arising from the sale of a new motor vehicle are subject to the provisions of Title 30, chapter 2, part 3. (3) It is an affirmative defense to a claim brought under this part that an alleged nonconformity does not substantially impair the use, market value, or safety of the motor vehicle or that the nonconformity is the result of abuse, neglect, or unauthorized modification or alteration of a motor vehicle by the consumer.
