61-8-379. Definitions. As used in 61-8-380 through 61-8-384, the following definitions apply: (1) 'Funeral escort vehicle' means a motor vehicle properly equipped pursuant to 61-8-381. (2) 'Funeral lead vehicle' means a motor vehicle, including a funeral hearse that is properly equipped pursuant to 61-8-381, leading and facilitating the movement of a funeral procession. (3) 'Funeral procession' means two or more motor vehicles, one of which is carrying the remains of a deceased person, in the daylight hours, including a funeral lead vehicle and a funeral escort vehicle.
