7-11-301. Purpose. (1) The purpose of this part is to provide procedures for the electors of local governments to consolidate or transfer the administrative and financial responsibility for services between or among municipalities and counties. (2) Nothing in this part is to be construed as in any way affecting the authority of local governments to enter into interlocal agreements or contracts as provided by law. History: En.
