7-13-146. Preparation and filing of district budget. (1) Not less than 30 days prior to the date of the public hearing on the resolution, the county commissioners shall prepare and file in the office of the clerk and recorder of the county wherein the district is located and in the office of the board of county commissioners a complete, detailed budget for operation and maintenance of the system, showing all income and expenditures for the year prior to the hearing and all estimated income and expenditures for the next ensuing year which the levy is assessed. (2) The provisions of law relating to county budgets and expenditures must be complied with by a metropolitan sanitary and/or storm sewer district. History: En.
