7-14-2303. Equipment used by road superintendent. (1) Upon the requisition of the superintendent, the board of county commissioners shall furnish any necessary equipment, tools, and implements and pay for them out of the county road fund. (2) The superintendent shall preserve the equipment, tools, and implements and may not allow them to be used except on public highways. At the expiration of the superintendent's term of office or upon removal from office, the supervisor shall turn over all equipment, tools, and implements to a successor or to the board. History: En.
