§ 7-3-1255

7-3-1255. Commissioners not to hold or seek other office. A person elected to the commission may not, during the term for which elected, be appointed to any office or position in the service in the municipality. If a member of the commission becomes a candidate for any public office other than that of commissioner, the person shall immediately forfeit the office of commissioner. History: En.
