7-34-2118. Term of office. (1) The trustees elected for the first board shall serve for terms: (a) commencing upon their being elected and qualified; and (b) terminating 1, 2, and 3 years, respectively, from the first district meeting following their election and until their respective successors are elected and qualified. (2) Annually after the initial election there may be elected a trustee to serve for a term of 3 years and until a successor is qualified.
