The officers named above may receive no other fees for any services performed by them in any action or proceeding or for the performance of any service for which fees are allowed, and the party demanding or receiving any fees not herein allowed is liable to refund the same to the party aggrieved, with treble the amount as damages, in addition to the cost of suit.
