7-6-2101. Procedure if county treasurer dies in office. (1) In case of the death of a county treasurer, the treasurer's legal representatives shall deliver up all official money, books, accounts, papers, and documents that come into their possession. (2) A percentage may not be allowed to the treasurer on any money received by the treasurer from the legal representative of a predecessor. History: En. Sec. 4369, Pol. C. 1895; re-en.
