7-8-2217. Procedure for sale of property of lesser value. (1) If personal property to be sold is valued at less than $2,500, it may be sold at either a public or private sale as the board of county commissioners determines to be to the best interests of the county. (2) If the property is sold at public sale, notice must be given as provided in 7-1-2121. (3) The board may, after a public hearing noticed as provided in 7-1-2121, adopt a policy for the sale of personal property valued at less than $2,500. History: En.
