§ 76-16-202

76-16-202. Notice and hearing on question of incorporation. (1) The persons deciding to incorporate the state district shall cause notice of the hearing to be given by publishing a notice prescribed by the commission once a week for 2 consecutive weeks in a newspaper of general circulation in the area. The first publication must be at least 30 days prior to the date of hearing. (2) The commission shall hear evidence offered in support of or in opposition to the creation of the state district and shall make a full inquiry into the advisability of its creation. History: En.
