§ 81-9-301

81-9-301. Licensing of rendering or disposal plants. (1) It is unlawful to operate in this state a rendering or disposal plant or establishment that is intended to be operated for the disposal of bodies or parts of bodies of animals or fowl in any manner, except for human consumption, without first securing a license from the department of livestock. (2) The license expires on December 31 of the year in which it is issued. The department shall establish a fee to be charged for licenses issued under 81-9-301 through 81-9-306. (3) All license fees collected shall be paid into the state special revenue fund for the use of the department. History: En. Sec. 1, Ch. 148, L. 1949; amd.
