85-7-1437. Notice of sale of bonds. (1) Except as provided in subsection (2), the notice of sale of bonds required by 85-7-1436 for bonds sold publicly must be published once at least 5 days prior to such sale: (a) in a newspaper of general circulation in the county in which the office of the issuer is located; and (b) in a financial newspaper in New York, Chicago, or San Francisco. (2) If the bond issue is in an amount of less than $150,000, the bond issue must be advertised at least 5 days prior to sale in a newspaper of general circulation throughout the state of Montana.
