2-2805. State Horticultural Society; purpose.The general purposes of the State Horticultural Society are (1) to unify horticulturists and organizations throughout the state in cooperation with the University of Nebraska for mutual development, and (2) to promote and develop horticulture in the state through education and research with producers and processors in the areas of ornamentals, fruits and vegetables.Source Laws 1969, c. 2, § 5, p. 63.
