2-4205. Nebraska Conservation Corporation; created; board of directors; officers.There is hereby created a body politic and corporate, not a state agency, but an independent instrumentality exercising essential public functions to be known as the Nebraska Conservation Corporation. The board of directors shall administer the corporation. The board shall have the authority to determine the administrative structure and procedure of the corporation. The board shall select a chairperson and a secretary-treasurer from among its members. Selection and terms of office for the chairperson and secretary-treasurer shall be governed by the interlocal cooperation agreement and the articles and bylaws of the Nebraska Association of Resources Districts.Source Laws 1981, LB 385, § 5.
