73-401. Contract with state agency; Public Counsel; jurisdiction.Except for long-term care facilities subject to the jurisdiction of the state long-term care ombudsman pursuant to the Long-Term Care Ombudsman Act, the contracting agency shall ensure that any contract which a state agency enters into or renews which agrees that a corporation, partnership, business, firm, governmental entity, or person shall provide health and human services to individuals or service delivery, service coordination, or case management on behalf of the State of Nebraska shall contain a clause requiring the corporation, partnership, business, firm, governmental entity, or person to submit to the jurisdiction of the Public Counsel under sections 81-8,240 to 81-8,254 with respect to the provision of services under the contract.Source Laws 1997, LB 622, § 120; Laws 2012, LB821, § 40.
