Electronic instrument, defined.Electronic instrument means a card or other tangible object for the transmission or payment of money that contains a microprocessor chip, magnetic strip, or other means for the storage of information, that is prefunded, and the value of which is decremented upon each use. Electronic instrument does not include a card or other tangible object that is redeemable by the issuer or its affiliates in goods or services of the issuer or its affiliates.Source Laws 2013, LB616, § 10.
