81-1347. Employee suggestion system; Director of Personnel; adopt rules and regulations.The Director of Personnel or such director's designated representative is hereby directed to develop and adopt rules and regulations in accordance with sections 81-1346 to 81-1354 for the administration of an employee suggestion system. Consideration of a suggestion shall begin when an eligible employee contacts the director or the director's designated representative with a qualifying suggestion. The employee shall supply and the director or the director's designated representative shall record the employee's name, the date and exact time of day the suggestion is submitted, and a brief description of the suggestion. The names of employees who make suggestions shall be kept confidential unless the employee is granted an award under sections 81-1346 to 81-1354.Source Laws 1978, LB 286, § 2; Laws 2003, LB 307, § 1.
