Statute 105 020

1. The provisions of NRS 105.010 to 105.080, inclusive, apply to a public utility only if the public utility elects to file a security instrument pursuant to NRS 105.030 and then only as to the method of perfection or notice of that security instrument. 2. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 3 of NRS 105.040, a public utility shall not change the method of perfection or notice of a security instrument from a method allowed pursuant to a provision other than NRS 105.010 to 105.080, inclusive, to the method allowed by NRS 105.010 to 105.080, inclusive. 3. Once a security instrument has been filed pursuant to NRS 105.030, the public utility shall not change the method of perfection or notice for that security instrument pursuant to a provision other than NRS 105.010 to 105.080, inclusive.
