1. The Division may, before issuing any permit or license pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, fully investigate all information submitted to it as required by this chapter and, if necessary, inspect the property which is the subject of any application. All reasonable expenses incurred by the Division in carrying out the investigation or inspection must be paid by the applicant and no license or permit may be issued until those expenses have been paid. 2. Payments received by the Division pursuant to this section must be deposited in the State Treasury for credit to the Real Estate Investigative Account. The Administrator shall use the money in the Account to pay the expenses of agents and employees of the Division making the investigations pursuant to this section.
