1. If a petition for termination of parental rights has been filed and a parent whose consent is required objects in writing to venue, the court must conduct a hearing to determine whether to transfer venue to another county. For the purpose of determining whether to transfer venue to another county, the court shall consider the ease of access to the court for the defendant and the factors set forth in NRS 13.050 and 128.030. 2. For the purpose of conducting a hearing pursuant to subsection 1, a party or witness located in another jurisdiction may testify by telephone or audiovisual or other electronic means.
