1. The personal representative who has limited authority or full authority has the power to enter into a contract to carry out the exercise of a specific power granted pursuant to NRS 143.300 to 143.815, inclusive, including, without limitation, the powers granted by NRS 143.505 and 143.605. Except as otherwise provided in subsection 2, the personal representative may exercise this power without giving notice of the proposed action pursuant to NRS 143.700 to 143.760, inclusive. 2. The personal representative shall comply with the requirements of NRS 143.700 to 143.760, inclusive, and shall give notice of a proposed action where the contract is one that by its provisions is not to be fully performed within 2 years after the date the parties entered into the contract, except that the personal representative is not required to comply with those requirements if the personal representative has the unrestricted right under the contract to terminate the contract within 2 years after the date the parties entered into the contract. 3. Nothing in this section excuses compliance with the requirements of NRS 143.700 to 143.760, inclusive, when the contract is made to carry out the exercise of the parties entered into the contract. 3.
