Except as otherwise provided in NRS 148.170 and 148.180 and in summary administration under chapter 145 of NRS, all sales of property must be reported to the court and confirmed by the court before the title to the property passes. The report and a petition for confirmation of the sale must be made within 30 days after each sale. 2. The clerk shall set the petition for hearing by the court, and the petitioner shall give notice thereof for the period and in the manner required by NRS 155.010, or for such a period and in such manner as may be ordered by the court.
