1. 'Independent attorney' means an attorney, other than an attorney who: (a) Is a transferee described in subsection 2 of NRS 155.097; or (b) Served as an attorney for a person who is described in subsection 2 of NRS 155.097 at the time of the execution of the transfer instrument. 2. The term includes, without limitation, the drafting attorney representing the transferor in preparation of the transfer instrument if the drafting attorney is not a person described in paragraph (a) or (b) of subsection 1.
