If such person was a resident of this State at the time of his or her disappearance, the district court of the county in which that residence was located shall have jurisdiction of all proceedings initiated under NRS 156.120 to 156.260, inclusive. 2. If such person was a nonresident of this State, the district court in any county where any real property of the missing person is located, or of the county where any personal property is located, if there is no real property in the State, shall have jurisdiction in such proceedings. 3.
