1. The petitioner has the burden of proving by clear and convincing evidence that the appointment of a guardian of the person, of the estate, or of the person and estate is necessary. 2. If it appears to the court that the allegations of the petition are sufficient and that a guardian should be appointed for the proposed protected person, the court shall enter an order appointing a guardian. The order must: (a) Specify whether the guardian appointed is guardian of the person, of the estate, of the person and estate or a special guardian; (b) Specify whether the proposed protected person is a resident or nonresident of this State; (c) Specify the amount of the bond to be executed and filed by the guardian; and (d) Designate the names and addresses, so far as may be determined, of: (1) The relatives of the proposed protected person upon whom notice must be served pursuant to NRS 159.047; and (2) Any other interested person. 3. A notice of entry of the court order must be sent to: (a) The relatives of the proposed protected person upon whom notice must be served pursuant to NRS 159.047; and (b) Any other interested person.
