When a trustee fails to perform any of the duties imposed upon the trustee by this chapter the trustee may be removed, the trustee’s compensation may be reduced or forfeited, or other civil penalty inflicted, in the discretion of the court. [19:135:1941; 1931 NCL § 7718.18]
