1. An offender convicted of a crime against a child or a sex offender convicted of a sexual offense who changes his or her name, residence, employment or student status shall, not later than 3 business days after such change of name, residence, employment or student status: (a) Appear in person in at least one of the jurisdictions in which the offender or sex offender resides, is a student or worker; and (b) Provide all information concerning such change to the appropriate local law enforcement agency. 2. The local law enforcement agency shall immediately provide the updated information provided by an offender or sex offender pursuant to subsection 1 to the Central Repository and to all other jurisdictions in which the offender or sex offender is required to register.
