A law enforcement agency and its officers and employees, the Central Repository and its officers and employees, and a campus police department and its officers and employees are immune from criminal or civil liability for an act or omission relating to information obtained, maintained or disclosed pursuant to the provisions of this chapter, including, but not limited to, an act or omission relating to: (a) The accuracy of information in a record of registration; or (b) The disclosure of or the failure to disclose information pursuant to the provisions of this chapter.
