Except as otherwise provided in subsection 8 of NRS 127.186, when by law any publication is required to be made by a clerk of the court of any suit, process, notice, order or other paper, the cost of such publication shall, if demanded, be tendered by the party to whom such order, process, notice or other paper was granted before the clerk of the court shall be compelled to make publication thereof.
