1. The provisions of NRS 202.3653 to 202.369, inclusive, do not prohibit a sheriff from issuing a temporary permit. A temporary permit may include, but is not limited to, provisions specifying the period for which the permit is valid. 2. Each sheriff who issues a permit pursuant to the provisions of NRS 202.3653 to 202.369, inclusive, shall provide such information concerning the permit and the person to whom it is issued to the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History.
