Statute 209 116

1. To ensure the safety of the residents of the State of Nevada, the Board shall adopt regulations establishing the maximum number of prisoners who may be incarcerated in a private facility or institution. The regulations must be based upon the standards adopted by the American Correctional Association or its successor organization. 2. As used in this section, 'prisoner' has the meaning ascribed to it in NRS 212.1895. (Added to NRS by 2009, 2820)
