1. The Department may transfer a person who is a minor and who is confined in an institution or facility of the Department to a state facility for the detention of children if the superintendent of the facility consents to the transfer. 2. As used in this section, 'state facility for the detention of children' means the Nevada Youth Training Center, the Caliente Youth Center or any other state facility for the detention of children that is operated pursuant to title 5 of NRS.
