The Director shall: 1. Adopt with the approval of the Board such regulations as are necessary to: (a) Maintain proper custody of an offender in accordance with the offender’s current classification. (b) Prevent escapes and maintain good order and discipline. 2. Establish procedures by regulation for disposing of cases involving violations of law in institutions or facilities of the Department. 3. Establish sanctions appropriate to the type and severity of such violations. (Added to NRS by 1977, 850; A 1983, 722)
