1. The Board or detaining authority shall give the arrested parolee advance notice of: (a) The place and time of the inquiry. (b) The purpose of the inquiry. (c) What violations of the conditions of his or her parole have been alleged. 2. The inquiring officer shall allow the parolee to: (a) Appear and speak on his or her own behalf. (b) Obtain counsel. (c) Present any relevant letters or other documents and any person who can give relevant information. (d) Confront and question any person who appears against the parolee unless, in the opinion of the inquiring officer, the informant would be subjected to a risk of harm by the disclosure of his or her identity.
