1. A person shall not give, offer or promise, directly or indirectly, any compensation, gratuity or reward to a Legislator, or attempt, directly or indirectly, by menace, deceit, suppression of truth or other corrupt means, to influence the Legislator to give or withhold the Legislator’s vote or to be absent from the House of which the Legislator is a member or from any committee of the Legislature. 2. A person who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a category C felony and shall be punished as provided in NRS 193.130.
