Statute 218d 400

As used in NRS 218D.400 to 218D.495, inclusive, unless the context otherwise requires, 'presiding officer' means: 1. In the Assembly, the Speaker of the Assembly or another member of the Assembly who is performing the functions of the Speaker during the absence or inability of the Speaker. 2. In the Senate, the Majority Leader of the Senate or another member of the Senate who is performing the functions of the Majority Leader during the absence or inability of the Majority Leader.
