1. Except during a regular or special session, for each day or portion of a day during which a member of the Legislative Commission or the Audit Subcommittee attends a meeting or is otherwise engaged in the official business of the Legislative Counsel Bureau, the member is entitled to receive: (a) The compensation provided for a majority of the Legislators during the first 60 days of the preceding regular session; (b) The per diem allowance provided for state officers and employees generally; and (c) The travel expenses provided pursuant to NRS 218A.655. 2. An alternate member of the Legislative Commission who: (a) Replaces a regular member at a meeting of the Legislative Commission or on official business of the Legislative Counsel Bureau is entitled to receive the same compensation, per diem allowances and travel expenses as a regular member for the same service. (b) Attends a meeting of the Legislative Commission but does not replace a regular member is entitled to the travel expenses provided pursuant to NRS 218A.655. 3.
