1. The Administrative Division shall preserve order and security on the grounds surrounding the Legislative Building and within the Legislative Building. 2. When the Legislature is in a regular or special session, the Administrative Division shall assist the Sergeant at Arms of either House, upon request, in preserving order in the chambers and private lounges of the respective Houses. 3. The Legislative Commission may by affirmative vote of a majority of its members adopt, amend, repeal and enforce reasonable regulations governing vehicular and pedestrian traffic on all property within the supervision and control of the Legislature pursuant to subsection 1 of NRS 331.135. 4. The regulations have the force and effect of law. 5. A copy of every such regulation, giving the date that it takes effect, must be filed with the Secretary of State, and copies of the regulations must be published immediately after adoption and issued in pamphlet form for distribution to the general public. 6. A person who violates any regulation adopted pursuant to this section is guilty of a misdemeanor. (Added to NRS by 1983, 1576; A 2011, 3243, 3672)
