1. Except as provided in subsection 2, upon the request of the Legislative Auditor or the Legislative Auditor’s authorized representative, all officers and employees of the agencies of the State shall make available to the Legislative Auditor all their books, accounts, claims, reports, vouchers or other records of information, confidential or otherwise, necessary, irrespective of their form or location in performing authorized audits or investigations. 2. This section does not authorize the Legislative Auditor or authorized representative to have access to any books, accounts, claims, reports, vouchers or other records or information of any business or activity which NRS 665.130 and 668.085 require to be kept confidential.
