Statute 228 1117

1. Not later than 5 business days after a contingent fee contract is signed by all the parties to the contract, the Attorney General shall cause fully executed copies of the contract and the written determination of the Governor made pursuant to NRS 228.1111 to be posted on the Internet website of the Attorney General. Those documents must be posted on the website at all times during the term of the contract and any extension or renewal of the contract. 2. Not later than 15 business days after any payment of fees is made to a retained attorney or law firm pursuant to a contingent fee contract, the Attorney General shall cause a record of the payment to be posted on the Internet website of the Attorney General. The record must remain posted on the website for a period of not less than 1 year after the date of the payment. (Added to NRS by 2015, 335, 336)
