1. The Office of Ombudsman for Victims of Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking is hereby created within the Office of the Attorney General. 2. The Attorney General shall appoint a person to serve in the position of Ombudsman for a term of 4 years. The person so appointed: (a) Must be knowledgeable about the legal and societal aspects of domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking; (b) Is in the unclassified service of the State; and (c) Is not required to be an attorney. 3.
